Time out doesn't do Cassville any good: 26-20 after three quarters

The timeout did not do Cassville any good as East scored the next basket, then forced a turnover with its full court pressure. A Tameric Branham steal did not result in an East basket, but Cassville quickly turned the ball over again.

Cassville broke the scoring drought with 1:16 left in the quarter to trim the lead to 25-18.

It looks like I may have counted out Cassville too soon. The Wildcats just hit a 15-footer to make it a five-point game.

On an in-bounds pass, DeVaughn Simmons hit Branham cutting across the baseline. He missed the shot, but was hammered and converted one of two free throws. East leads 26-20 with 19 seconds left.
