A three-pointer by Dillon McVay and a basket by Quantal Brown from a Chase Hall assist gave East a quick 5-0 lead en route to a 9-4 first quarter advantage over the visiting Cassville Wildcats in the eighth grade game.
East also had a steal and layup by Terrell Gilmore and a Hall basket from a McVay assist.
