Four SMS students made JHS freshman cheerleading squad

Four South Middle School cheerleaders will be freshman cheerleaders next year at Joplin High School.
Those selected following tryouts last week were: Ashlea Smith, Halie Endicott, Abbi Smith and Arlisa Arwood.

I'm so happy me and my friends made freshmen squad! We worked very hard, seeing all the girls that were trying out for the team. So now we get to go to camp together and do all of that fun stuff.Congrats Chikas! JHS here we come!-Abbi Smith 8th Grade

Congrats to all the south girls that made the freshman cheerleading team. I know we will have so much fun. A total of 16 girls made the team and 4 of them were south middle school girls! Congrats again! We love you!.--Ashlea Smith

I'm so happy we all made it! We worked so hard,especially seeing all of the girls trying out. Just think, now we get to go to camp together. Congrats Chikas!-Abbi Smith 8th Grade
