A 15-footer by Terrell Gilmore ended an 8-2 Webb City run that saw the visitors trim East's lead to 22-14 in the eighth grade B game.
Gilmore just made it two in a row with a steal and layup to build the lead to 26-14 with 32.7 seconds left in the first half.
A nice spin move in the lane and banker by Tyson Hardee enabled East to finish a 6-0 run before the half, which ended with East leading Webb City 28-14.
